Wall plates are leased for an initial period of 10 years, with the option to renew. During the lease period, the council accepts no responsibility for the upkeep of the plate.
Unless it is renewed at the end of the lease period, the plate will be removed from its location 1 month after the expiry date.
How to order
Due to the availability of space, it will not be possible to personally select the fixing location of the plate.
It takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks from placing the order to delivery. Upon completion, a letter will be forwarded to the applicant advising them of the location.
Full payment must accompany your application. We are able to accept most credit and debit cards. Please make cheques payable to 'London Borough of Hillingdon'.
The council reserves the right to alter any application that is deemed unsuitable and to change the design of any memorial without giving prior notice.
