About the Mayor of Hillingdon

Cllr Philip Corthorne has been elected Mayor of Hillingdon for 2025 to 2026. He will be accompanied by 2 Mayoresses, his wife Fiona Corthorne and daughter Hannah Corthorne.

The Deputy Mayor is Cllr Reeta Chamdal and she will be accompanied by Consort Cllr Roy Chamdal and Escort Evangeline Chamdal.

Cllr Corthorne has been a Ruislip resident for most of the time since 1970 and was first elected as a councillor in 1993. He was re-elected in 2022 to represent the Ruislip ward. Over the years, he has served in the council's Cabinet, holding responsibility for a wide range of services including housing, social services, and the environment.

In his leisure time, Cllr Corthorne enjoys cricket, football, and travel. He has four adult children and a baby granddaughter named Jemima.
