About the Mayor of Hillingdon

The Mayor's chosen charities

The Mayor raises funds for local organisations to make a difference to the local community and this year the Mayor is supporting the following charity:

  • The Daniella Logun Foundation
The foundation supports children and young people diagnosed with brain tumours and their families, living in Hillingdon and its surrounding areas. The Mayor has chosen this charity following her work and support of Daniella's family through their journey and since the passing of their amazing daughter in 2016.
  • The Magical Marvellous Picture House
The charity helps disabled residents gain skills in photography, allowing the community the chance to see life through their eyes via photographs. The charity is also creating a shop and training centre to enable the skills being learnt to be used in the workplace and reduce unemployment. The Mayor was inspired by this young and growing charity when it came to her attention while working with various other disability charities in the past.
