About the Mayor of Hillingdon
Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana has been elected Mayor of Hillingdon for 2023 to 2024. He will be accompanied by 2 Mayoresses - his wife Amtul Woud Wallana and their daughter Tooba Khulat Wallana - and 2 Escorts - Sabrina Cambiaso Tabar and Fabiana Fawaz.
The Deputy Mayor is Cllr Colleen Sullivan and her Escorts will be John Clarke, Carol Clarke and Anne Robinson.
He was first elected as a councillor in Yiewsley in 2014 and now represents Colham and Cowley, following boundary changes. In 2022/2023, he deputised for former Mayor Cllr Haggar.
Cllr Ahmad-Wallana speaks 3 languages (English, Urdu and Punjabi). In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, travel and learning.
