Our automatic recycling bag delivery scheme is the easiest way for residents to access free dry, mixed recycling bags and food caddy liners. It's also the most efficient and cost-effective method for our council to deliver bags.
On Tuesday 2 April, we're relaunching our automatic recycling bag delivery scheme. If you currently have recycling bags or food waste caddy liners delivered, you'll need to re-register your account. Or, if you're new to the scheme, you'll be able to sign up online.
When will deliveries be made?
To help reduce our carbon footprint, from Tuesday 2 April we'll be introducing zoned deliveries (by ward) once a year.
This will decrease the number of annual delivery journeys we make by more than 150,000, significantly reducing vehicle emissions and contributing to our target of our operations being carbon neutral by 2030.
