Hillingdon Council's budget for 2023/24 proposes a council tax and social care precept increase of 4.99 per cent, well below the rate of inflation. It also proposes increasing fees and charges towards full cost recovery for discretionary services used by residents. Even after these increases, Hillingdon residents are set to pay amongst the lowest levels of council tax in outer London and the lowest fees and charges per capita of any other authority in London.
